Re: A Theoretical Big 3

I am currently doing Bucks. I made up an imaginary storyline that CP3 and Dwight Howard walked and went to Milwaukee and teamed up with Ellis.

so its Ellis, CP3, and Dwight

If we're going to consider any young player who's been successful part if a big three then we can say that :

Charlotte has a big 3 of kemba, mkg, and biyombo

Cleveland has a big 3 of kyrie, waiters, and Thompson

New Orleans has a big 3 of Gordon, Davis, and Anderson

I could continue but I think we get the point. Those teams all have young talent. But they aren't good enough to dominate opposing teams.

No combination of first and second year players is anywhere near as talented as James, wade, and bosh. Or rondo, kg, pierce, Garnett. Or Kobe, gason, Howard. Etc.
Don't see your point.
In "young big three", there is still "big".
So good young player with big potential.
Davis is a "young big", Waiters is one and there are some like this.
But don't tell me Biyombo is a "young big". He's like 62 with no potential

In MyCareer in Portland, it's pretty much a big 3

Re: A Theoretical Big 3

I traded Nash and Gasol and 2 1st round picks in a 3 team trade that netted me John Wall and Taj Gibson. I lost in the finals to the 76ers in a 7 game series. It was the most fun I've ever had playing 2k. 3 of my series took 7 games to win. Resigned Dwight in the offseason and added Corey Brewer as my SF.

PG: John Wall
SG: Kobe
SF: Brewer
PF: Gibson
C: Howard

Will likely let Kobe walk after this year if he asks for too much. Thinking about making a run at LeBron to build a Big 3 but may just stick with Dwight and Wall and fill in around them.

Whenever I see something like this.. I think to myself.. Might as well trade him to Celtics for some scrub. He'll ask somewhere around 10 mil dollars.

Re: A Theoretical Big 3

My favorite big 3 is Kyrie Irving, Paul George, and Greg Monroe. Took me a couple years to form in my association, but I love it.
