Warriors Elevator! I hope it can also be run with the shooter at the top of the key.

Already commented on the video asking how we're supposed to learn plays without Practice Plays this year.

Everyone else who actually cares about plays should do the same and make Coach Nick aware of that issue.

79,000 subscribers... Not to mention twitter.

At the end he says with defensive improvements you will need to run more offensive plays and sets just like real life. Hmmmm yet we can't practice them?! Lol!

So, now that this is out what would we call it? I say marketing!

Those GS sets looked terrible. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but the Czars are more engaging.

I heard you can run plays in scrimmage mode...guess that would be a short term solution..

It'd be a good way to get your counters down as well..

This!

If I was new to 2k or had never seen a czar breakdown I might have stayed awake while viewing this vid. But as the vet of 2k and the sport of bball that I am, I was immensely bored watching this.

Coach Nick has his unique style as does Da_Czar. The vid linked seemed more of a promotional "feature" snippet than instructional breakdown.

It will be interesting if Coach Nick does a series of actual learning/breakdown vids and most welcome as well.

With all of that said, I really hope Da_Czar does 2k14 analysis and does multiple play sets this year. I really learned a lot from his wonderful offerings in the past.

You say marketing like it's an expletive.

Re: Coach Nick & 2k14

I don't get this approach though. 2K became less and less sim since 2K11 and now we are getting an analysis from plays being run while the game has became so arcade'ish. Made for run and gun type of plays and lobs.

Most of the time it's, Nash passes to Kobe -> Kobe tries to drive or do something but he can't go nowhere -> passes back to Nash -> Nash forces himself into the paint by cheesing (using behind the back moves/warping through players) and then jumps to get fouled.

CPU doesn't run the clock or run plays properly.
