Is NBA 2k14 Worth Buying?

So NBA 2k14 is one interesting hyped up game. So much hate came towards the game people calling it NBA 2k13.5 I was hype for the game at 1st. I'm a huge Crew fan when they gave out the news About Crews (Blacktop 2.0) I was so upset and canceled my preorder and was going to buy it to show hoping that the sales would go down for making a half a** mode was my favorite mode in a basketball game. Now hearing the gameplay is good in NBA 2k14 but I want to know is it worth somebody's hard earn money to buy this game or skip it for next year. (Just for somebody that's only buying current gen..)
