Re: Worries about next gen player editing?

I doubt that they won't have it. They have that new "The Park" mode that can hold up to 100 players so it would be highly illogical that they would work so hard on such a mode & make everybody look the same. Tbh it could have been just 2ks sh!tty marketing that doesn't want to respond until they release a video in the last minute or so before release.

Re: Worries about next gen player editing?

I'm glad I found this thread, now I know I won't be picking up a PS4 for a least a year, no way I dropping that much without at least 3 titles I'm estatic about currently I'm not thrilled with any of this. Outside of the graphics this is a huge downgrade to the offline gamer who I still think is the silent majority. Yes this does sound very much like madden 13 and CCM which created a backlash which is being felt after editing has returned.

Oh no......not looking good at all! Mike Wang or someone from the 2K team usually clears this type of thing up before it gets out of hand. Lets hope they just havent read the forums as of yet.

Player Editing is def essential to the experience and is a staple of 2k's with the signature styles and being able to get a player as accurate as possible. Without this, it is def close to being a deal breaker. Hopefully someone from 2K clears this up.

Re: Worries about next gen player editing?

I already mentioned this in another thread but with the removal of multi team control I get the feeling a lot of customization might be taken away, including ratings/tendencies, whether it's inside association mode or just outside, or maybe just my gm mode. If that's the case, I'll be sticking with current gen. Gameplay will always beat graphics, 100% of the time for me.

It seems these guys haven't been too active on OS since they started coming out with next gen news...so I still don't know what to think but as of now I'm expecting the worse but hoping for the best.

But seeing all these pages in this thread based off of worry alone has to show them how important this feature is to us.

Agreed. And everyone knows there are players who consistently need tweaks on their sig shot. Even from the momentous trailer I can tell Curry's is still off. I always change Kobe's too.

I'm going to guess no editing. The circumstantial evidence all fits. That's bad. That's really bad.

Just the thought of having to rely on 2k roster updates is upsetting.
