I was just thinking that as well. He had a monster game, but he's the oldest guy in the draft. Also, he picked "being a great teammate" in his interviews instead of "hall of famer" or "winning at all costs" which is what top 5 teams want in drafting a player that high. In CG MyCarreer pre-draft interviews, it payed to be arrogant if your performance could back it up.

Age matters to NBA GMs. One of the reason Shabazz Muhammad slipped as far as he did IRL was because he turned out to be a year older than he said he was.

I went 7th to the Kings, even after intentionally blowing the Bobcats interview. It may have been that the patch fixed Smoove's glitch, since he was playing before the game was technically out.

He got picked so low because you have to be picked after Jackson Ellis. Ellis got picked 21, so smoove had to be picked lower than that

would be pretty stupid ...look at all the draft interviews of the great players in the NBA today...the first thing you'll notice is 75% of them said:"I just wanna make my teammates better".

Not the case as I have been picked ahead of him at 5th. But then I did my best and I went 4th and he went 3rd dispite him having about 5 turnovers and only 6 points and a assist where I had double-double 30+ points and 10+ assists and 5+ rebound and steals and one block

I also picked HoF with the agent.

Patch likely fixed going late when you did well. Still a bit too scripted and looks like you can't go 1st.
