What happened to following for this game?

I was a regular on the dedicated mynba site and played the crap out of 2k14 and 15 but I took 2k16 off because my fingers couldn't take another year of it lol! I started playing this year's game and wanted to see how the community is doing and the other site is shut down and not a lot of posts on here either.

Seems like catdaddy found a way to drive away all of its long time players.

Can't speak for the other site, but a lot of things contributed to less activity here. The team aspect was one. Many of us use other vehicles of communication now (i.e line, whatsapp, etc). Then we had some bannings early in the 16 app life over here. This forced many of us further into the other apps to communicate because our teammates weren't allowed here. Then there is the mods' hard stance on things like no negative talk about the developer and no off topic. Those things combined with some vets on here quitting caused OS to be a much smaller part of the game.

Yea mods became a little too strict. 1 thing i loved about this forum was talking about the nba games while you grind. Then mods started banning & people got tired of it

^Both sums it all up.

And for me personally in 2k15 I enjoyed the "trading" aspect here on the forums. There was no need for that in 2k16 with wildcards and the accessibility of RP and cards easy to purchase through the AH.

In 2k17 it would be nice to be able to trade now that its harder to pro again, the problem is now you need credits to post.

If you can't talk bad about the developers here then that takes away 85% of the discussion items!!!

Since I didn't play last year can you guys help me out. This game is so much different from the previous versions I played like where are the wild cards and how do I obtain star contracts. I've played over 700 quick games and haven't pulled one.

How does the team aspect of things help out in this game?

Oh and thanks for all the feed back I was I really disappointed to see none of my longtime vets posting anymore.

vets are here. we just lurk.

ok... no more wild cards in the game. biggest change thus far.
2nd change... no contract packs, so no guaranteed star contract.
however, you can pull a star contract from the other $ player packs.
3rd change: you can only post a card on the AH by paying $ credits.

team aspect... there are team perks everytime someone on the team buys a pack. plus there are team perks that can be earned during events (RC, RttC).

The needing to buy credits to auction cards off is pretty stupid. Sucks they got rid of the wildcards, pro'ing a card is so hard.
