I bought my copy the same way, just download the patch from the link as if you had the dvd copy of the game, run the application and the setup wizard guides you through the patch. It's pretty straight forward.

Yeah, there's 2 possible solutions going on right now, but we need people to test them and see if either one works.

what stuff/mods(?) affect the global.iff??
i applied a good amount of mods to the game quite a while a go so i dont exactly remember what i copied over there...

I've never had a single ctd with a Nba2k game all these years.It's the first time I hear people having problems with ctd's in this game.Weird.
