Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements

Right, and that's what I'm trying to avoid. I'd love nothing more than to upgrade to a huge card, but I think I can sell my wife on getting a cheap card and going that route. I have a pretty roomy full size case, with tons of fan expansion room, so I'm not too worried about getting the airflow in there. And all this is contingent of course upon my PSU 's ability to provide power. I'm fairly certain I left some decent room in there for an upgrade down the line, but I'm going to have to check that obviously.

And yes, that is the board. I just wanted to get it from someone else that isn't me that it was even possible before I launch a full scale investigation. Thanks a lot for the input.

I'm unfamiliar with the graphics card terminology. Will a Nvidia Geforce GTX 460M do the trick?

Is that addressed to me? My laptop has handled several recent games without any issues, could someone possibly provide a more constructive response?

Sorry man but I really doubt you will be happy with the performance on anything other than recent high end laptop card. I think the 460m is a 2010 card?

I gamed for two and a half years on a laptop with a GT555m and it ran most 360/PS3 ports just fine but as soon as I tried something newer like BF4 or Watchdogs it was pretty clear that it wasn't going to cut it. I bit the bullet and built a decent gaming PC.

Yeah I have the 560m. It is a great little mobile graphics card but once BF4 came out it wasn't going to cut it. I haven't upgraded yet as I might go the PS4 route, we'll see.

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements

I really don't know much about computer graphics cards, but would anyone be able to tell me how NBA 2k15 might play on my laptop?

Would the game look as good as it would on an Xbox One/PS4, or close to as good? I would prefer to get it on PC because of modding, but if it is going to look crappy or skip frames then I would rather pick up a next-gen console. The games I've played look pretty solid. The FIFA 15 demo seems to play pretty well.

Thanks to anyone who is willing to help.
