oline connecting to play someone problem, help?

Hello all!
My cousin purchased a brand new PS3 slim 120 gb and Nba live 2010 last night. I've been had my PS3 slim and live and have played online with it with no issues.

He set everything up and I challenged him to a versus game, nonranked, 10 min quarters and he could not select a team and we couldn't play. When he would challenge me, same thing. We both reset our routers and games and same thing. Someone else challenged me and we both were able to select teams and play. He challenged someone else and same issue.

So, I know the problem is on his end, but not sure whats going on. We both have the DNA code enabled with the rosters. I wonder if him having Wireless N is a problem.

If anyone has these issues please let me know how you fixed it. I feel bad cuz I talked him into buying a PS3 and Live so we could play.

Ok I told him to unhook the router and go straight to his modem and it worked.

It's either his security or the wireless N router
