Figured I’d post the sliders I’m using for play now or franchise.

The Nov 15 patch was terrific IMO. Almost everything plays better. Blocks seems appropriate, shot contests are better, defense is a little looser. The only thing was pass interceptions are still overdone. I managed to fix this for the most part by changing every players steal rating to zero. It really smoothed out the game and stopped the constant lunging that would either result in a weird looking steal or the player being way out of position. It also allows me to have the user steal slider turned up making actual steals(not pass interceptions) possible.

The Nov 21 update smoothes some other things out and gameplay is exactly what I was hoping for. I’ve played well over 150 franchise games and I don’t see myself slowing down anytime soon.

Skill Level: All Star

I like how the game plays on All Star better than Superstar but it’s a little too easy for me. These sliders are designed to make all star more difficult but also I really aim at getting as close to real life stats as possible.

Quarter Length: 12 minutes with accelerated clock on(personal preference)

Sim quarter length: 7 minutes to match accelerated clock length.

shooting: rating + skill

Free throw Shooting: rating only

One thing to note, I gave free throw shooting set as “ratings only” that’s super misleading because it’s not ratings only. I don’t know if it’s busted or EA intended it but the “Ratings Only” setting actually works exactly the same as with the shot meter except no shot meter is displayed. To me ratings only should mean if I press a button the players free throw rating would determine if it goes in or not but it doesn’t work that way.

The problem for me is with the shot meter on I would routinely make 100% of my attempts so I went to 0 on that slider and although it did make the green release window smaller it quickly became too easy again. I then switched to “Ratings Only” with the slider st 50 and it was challenging for awhile but once I got my timing it was too easy again. I’ve settled at 0 on that slider but I think if your new to the game that will be way too hard to start with. I’d start maybe Ratings + Skill and work your way up if you find too easy.

Shot meter: on
This ones key for my sliders. I have user shooting sliders really low to combat the shot meter being a little too easy.

Game speed: 60
Another key change in my opinion. Lowering it from 80 to 60 helps the flow of the game. Let’s animations play out better.

Reach in foul 40/90 i have this at 40 for user to try and generate some more on ball steal opportunities and 90 for cpu simply because I’ve never seen a reach in foul against the cpu so I don’t think it matters what the value is.
Jump shot foul 100/65 this one is important to have CPU at 65. Any higher and you get a crazy amount of fouls on three point shots.

Steal 35-20 if you aren’t using steal ratings to 0 method. 50/50 if you are editing the steal rating

Shot blocking 40/35(you have to think before trying to drive and shoot. Helps keep points in the paint down)
Offensive rebounding 50/50
Off ball push frequency 50/50
Off ball push success 50/50

jostle vs blow by 50/50
dribble move reac 50/50

I consistently get close or exact to league averages in all categories except for 3 point attempts. No way to fix that.

I'm gonna play around with these this week because I want to do a Franchise mode, but want to make it realistic. Gonna probably rebuild the hometown Grizzlies. What I'll do is play a seven game series in in H2H before going forth with Franchise. Will keep you updated on any tweaks or changes I make.

After the patch my first game I shot 64% from the field even with that low of user mid and 3 sliders. Going to play a few more games tonight before jumping to conclusions but I may need to either lower sliders more or possibly raise the shot contest slider to make shooting harder.

I've noticed, there's no 35, 55, etc. in these sliders only 30, 40, 60, etc. Mistake?

Not sure what you mean? If you mean that you can’t set sliders in game to 35 or 55, only in franchise do the sliders go in increments of 1. And only in the franchise menu. That’s what I’m using these for.

In play now or the in game pause menu it’s only in increments of 10 for some weird reason. I would just round down personally. If I have a slider at 35 I’d set to 30.

I like these very much. Thank you for posting them.

Lebron stomped a mudhole in me. I hate Lebron lol. (What 'Brow did to me tho was even worse lol). Probably made D adjustments too late lol. Bron went green and there was no stopping him. Thats how Id expect it tho. (Was using Phoenix so what do we expect? Lol)

Since using these sliders, ive gone 2-3 in my franchise. And having more fun playin in Chise.
