Wondering IF i Should give live 09 a shot

I've been a 2k guy since 05 i was wondering if it was worth picking up a copy i need some feedback on how good the game is .thanks i would really appreciate it

somthing that does not fustrate me trying to find the right set of sliders to have teams play like themselves....2k is good but i get fustrated everygame with the stats of the teams i play against because the role players are too good also the teames dont run sets which i hate that with a passion every game feels the same to me ...Thanks czar.fot the help if you can give me more ifo about live on the gameplay side or anyone else for that matter i'll be gratefull

Well I'll try to help you out the gameplay compared to 2k is a downgrade but there are somethings they do better then 2k like foot planting, some sig shots are equal as well as better then some in 2ks but its not as deep as 2ks overall, The best feature of live 09 is hands down the DNA trust me its not a gimmick compared to 2k insider not bashing just being real, it realyl does make players and teams play like there counter parts. You don't have to worry bout teams running sets they do it a lot in live.

when you say deep what are you reffering to exactly.because some aspects of 2k are shallow as far as the repetitive nature of the game to game experience...i just downloaded the live demo on saturday and i was actually having fun with it and that wasnt a finished game ...plus ive seen the comments on how the pach and what got fixed and you dont need a lot of slider adjustments which would be great since i just wanta good sim experience.........again thanks for the feed back guys

There's your answer right there! Live 09 is definitely a great sim basketball game and the demo doesn't do it justice, glad your enjoying it though! DNA is the truth!

My bad i meant animation wise its not as deep as 2k, i wouldn't say live is a great sim it has its problems but the half court game is probable the best I've seen in any basketball video game second would be inside drive and college hoops.
