Re: Gold Rush...The Denver Nuggets Thread

How 'bout them Nuggs? 'Melo stepped-up with 34pts on 11-20 shooting & 9-10 FTs. Rodney White came up with big and timely baskets for 13pts. But best of all, Earl "The Squirrel" Boykins scored 32pts on 11-15 shooting & 8-8 FTs. On the Detroit Pistons.

'Melo may be the man but Boykins sure is their hero. Does anyone on that team come up with bigger baskets than this guy?

Re: Gold Rush...The Denver Nuggets Thread

Carmelo Anthony = slump officialy over. Kenyon Martin = starting to come to form. Greg Buckner = came up big.

Except for that 1st quarter, the Nuggets just thrashed the Mavs. I'd also like to point out the 35 assists. Many good passes = WIN. Yes, Dirk didn't play much but for a team with so many stars, no one stepped-up.

Next game against the Nets should put them over .500 for the first-time this season.

Re: Gold Rush...The Denver Nuggets Thread

Since no one has been talking about them lately, which turned out okay I think since they started winning, its time to revive it.

Another close game for the Nuggets and almost another loss, Anthony's game-winner was sweet. Missing all of his shots in the 4th and making a big basket in the waning seconds will go far in his development as a "clutch" player. Great overall production from the Nuggets, with the core-four producing big numbers. Its also nice to see them win games on the road since they started awfully at the beginning of the year.

Next game: Diesel and the Miami Heat.
