Custom Schedules

I know the game hasn't released yet but I was hoping that someone might have the inside scoop on this:

Are the schedules this year FULLY customizable? I ask because I have played previous versions of this game on PS2 and there would be certain teams you could never play because your team was much better or much worse.

Basically, I just want to know that if I am using a powerhouse like North Carolina, can I play Northern Arizona if I want to just stomp someone or am I restricted to only playing the top tier teams in college basketball?

Yes, check the dynasty video thread. It's one of the options you can change prior to starting a dynasty.

In terms of prestige though, I am not sure. If you're Yale you should not have UConn coming to your gym to play. 2K did it that way as well, I have no problem with that.

I hear you man, on scheduling. I like that they limit you to teams. If I was Indiana and I wanted a good beating. I would try to beat a good team. I like knowing I played a good game against a good team.

The point of custom schedules to me though is that I should be able to CUSTOMIZE it however I want... I'm the one that dropped $60 on the game. Also, that's the point of RPI, if you play all cupcakes, your RPI will suck, if you want a better RPI play the big boys. I'm not saying that I want to play all the pansy teams because I don't, I just want to know that I can if I really wanted to.

BTW, ka520... BEAR DOWN brotha... I'm a UofA alumnus, class of 1999. I always roll with them in this game.

It also poses a problem if u want to have an accurate schedule and you play as UC-Santa Barbara and want to host UNC (which is acutally happening)...

also i want to play the games in order so that i can have accuracy to this season

crossing my fingers...if this doesnt happen i may not buy the game

In that case just wait for the patch with the real life schedules.
