Re: How's Your Dynasty Going?

Started a new one with Northern Illinois. Just had a great game against Bradley earlier, down by 15 with 7 minutes left in the game and had a wicked 12-0 run, and kept on going till i pushed it into overtime.

That's when Bradley started to turn the ball over and took advantage.
6-4 right now.

Re: How's Your Dynasty Going?

I am currently 15-5 (6-3) in my Cincinnati dynasty, my next game is @ ND who I beat by 2 earlier in the year.
I had one of those games last night that show me just how good this game can be. I played Providence at home and won 74-64. The thing is the game was just a blast to play.
Prov. actually took and made a decent amount of threes. They just didnt throw it into the post everytime and shoot. They were 8-22 from behind the arc, which is outstanding. When the cpu plays with a threat to shoot the 3 it really opens up this game so much. There are more long rebounds which leads to more fastbreaks. I actually had 14 fb points!
Also you have to actually gaurd them on the perimeter and not just back off them and defend the post the whole game.
Also I used the overhead view, which is like the 2k view on 2k ball games and I love it. It was the first time I have ever used this view and it really allows you to see more openings in the cpu d. It also helps you on the break to find open men and the angles they are taking toward the hoop.

FunkDockta27, that is sick man. I love games like that, your heart's beating, afraid to make a mistake, scared to force the ball, there's nothing like it except to actually be in a game like that IRL. Congrats on the comeback OT win!
That is not the classic view, classic is a far away side view.
I am guessing it is the overhead view.
FunkDockta27 can you post the exact settings fo the view you use?

Marshon Brooks is a beast in the game. I play tight and double team always on him and he still puts up 20.

I use whatever is default. That replay was just one of the various replay cams they have. I think "replay 7". I saved then uploaded the replay to EA, then linked it.

Not sure if you can set it to that camera in-game?

Yep, you're right it's the overhead view...my bad.

As for my dynasty I just had two good games against #18 Butler and #5 Washington winning both by 6 or fewer points. The Washington game was much more fun, they went up by nine at the half. Thomas was as advertised and their big man down low was great too. I think I won 72-67 against Wash and 70-64 against Butler....

Re: How's Your Dynasty Going?

Just beat #1 Kentucky in the Elite Eight to advance to the final four. I was down 12 early with Kentucky shooting 70% in the first ten minutes. Decided to play their style and my trap worked. Clawed my way back to 6 at 47-41 at halftime. Kentucky's interior d was so aggressive that they left a lot of easy dunks in the middle by trying to steal the inbounds pass.

Trap shut them down the second half as they only shot 37% from the field and outscored them 42-24 to win 83-71 going away. Was hoping to see a net cutting down ceremony, but alas I won't. #3 Depaul Blue Demons out of the West to meet #1 Villanova out of the South. Meeting #4 with Nova this year (3-0 so far, I don't think this bodes well for me). The other Final Four game pits #1 Kansas against #5 Minnesota who edged #6 Clemson in the Midwest Regional Final.

EDIT: Knew it. Lost 74-70 in a sloppy game to Nova. ugh. They got blew out by Kansas in the final. Wow and then a job offer from Kansas. Weird.
