Community Ncaa Football 06 rosters

is there a plan to do rosters for this game like the one that was done for college hoops? it was awesome that people took turns putting names in one conference at a time.

I can help out. I helped with CH and Wally (RubenDouglas) and I kind of kept it together at the end with the order of conferences and what not.

I would like to atleast do the Pac-10, I can do as many conferences as you guys need though.

I could try to help out... I did a lot of work with March Madness a couple years ago when I was posting under a different name (J_Mac). SEC would be my first choice, but football rosters would be so much harder to do than basketball because of roster sizes. I guess we can give it a shot.

*EDIT: But with the roster sizes so large, we may ned to split up conferences or something. Like the larger conferences (SEC, Big 12, Big 10, ACC, Pac-10) could take days to complete, so split them in half and have someone do half and then send it on to someone else to finish that conference up. This would keep people away from burnout and keep the rosters moving.*

Good luck guys, I organize one of these last year. It's a very time consuming process. I think creating a project for the rosters is the best thing rather than one person doing it all alone. I perosnally think its a waste of time and resources to have four people attempting to do the whole thing by themselves as one person will always feel "left out." If you need any additional help I'd be glad to join in.

Its tought with football because you have a few guys who'll edit a few players here and there, so they match roster spots. While others may not totally agree who its "really supposed to be".

I say everyone should do a vote on how they want to edit the names.

I say: All KNOWN roster players from the designated "teams/conferences" that they signed up for.

After all the initial names are done... there should be 2-15 guys per team who are questionable... ONE person can do this.... We can compile a list of who's who and whats WRONG, and have one person fix them. Like if someone knows "there team" more than someone else, they could help compile a list.


I think doing it this way would help with the organization.

Intial rosters first...... look for mistakes and unknown players/#'s OFF of the default rosters and everyone can help off of that MAIN default roster. Once that list is complete, a person can input the changes, and the file would be complete.

of course, this is all in 4-6 days time span.
