I doubt Tech has 2 QBs wearing #10, especially considering one of them is the back-up. There's a chance he could wear that as a redshirt, but he wouldn't be able to wear it until his RS Senior year considering Synjyn Days (back-up) already has claim to it and he's a RS Freshman, and the heir apparent at QB.

As for Charles Perkins (2nd-string B-Back)

One of the lower rated A-backs (halfbacks) should be replaced with him. My nomination would be either Zach Laskey or Broderick Snoddy.

Its also important that Charles Perkins be good as a Running back not good as a Full back (he should have speed, acceleration agility etc. of a running back because that's essentially what he is (he lines up behind the QB while the half backs line up on the ends), based on what I saw in the spring game is blocking should be where Preston Lyons (starter) gets an advantage over him, as well as in the strength department, Perkins should be more agile while Lyons is a tougher back).

The B-back is under the fullback category simply because that's how EA has set up the system, while the B-back has some characteristics of a typical full back they are first and foremost a halfback. That being said players who would normally play fullbacks in college are recruited by Tech (and the academies) to play B-back (Watson is an example of that), Charles Perkins was recruited to play B-back, because of his raw talent, its still a little raw which is why he's not a starter, but he's expected to see more carries this year than Preston Lyons saw last year when he was the back-up (because he's going to be a 3-year player in the system while Lyons is done after this year).

The above information on B-backs should be considered when rating the Academies' (Navy, Air-Force, Army) B-backs as well. I can't speak as to which ones should be built more like FBs and which ones more like RBs, because I only watch them when I get the chance and I'm not familiar with their players until the first time I see them on TV during the season.

Re: Official NCAA 12 Community Roster Corrections Thread

Brett Pierce for Temple.

You have him listed as #23 DB
He is #25 WR - Air XP - Robot - 3/4 Sleeve White

Edited: Besides the main player on some teams, everyone is wearing the opposite or completely wrong equipment.

Re: Official NCAA 12 Community Roster Corrections Thread

Mississippi State:

Suggestions-

Switch Speed ratings for HB Ladarius Perkins and HB Robert Elliot, Perkins is MUCH faster than Elliot.
WR Chris Smith needs a small drop in speed and WR Jameon Lewis needs a small increase in speed.
RE Shane McCardell could use an increase in speed.
QB Dylan Favre and QB Dak Prescott's overall ratings could be flip-flopped. Favre probably should be the higher rated player.
DT Fletcher Cox should be rated slightly higher than DT Josh Boyd.
LOLB's Deonte Skinner and Chris Hughes overall ratings should be flip-flopped.

Changes-

WR Ricco Saunders should be Ricco Sanders.
HB Robert Elliot is from Okolona, MS.
LT Blaine Clausell's name should have an "L" in it. He is also from Mobile, AL.
LT Nick Redmond is from Gulfport, MS.
RG Tobias Smith is from Columbus, MS.
LOLB Deonte Skinner is from Macon, MS.
TE Brandon Hill changed his number to #18. He should also be changed to a Redshirt Freshman status.

Florida Gators

SS #9 Joshua shaw is a sophomore not a RS senior

QB #10 Tyler murphy should be added in. rating close to driskel since he is the competing for the backup. i would replace with ss chris johnson. Murphy will play over brissett for sure

add in WR #7 Robert clark with the CAP number trick since Powell shares the number. 5'9" 175 lb SO is supposed to compete for alot of playing time.

Chris Rainey is runningback now.

those are the most important for now

Alshon and Shamier are from St Matthews. I understand it's not in the game, but it's apart of the Columbia Metropolitan Area so maybe Columbia would just fit.

Re: OS NCAA Football 12 Community Roster Corrections

How are you guys keeping up with who has the most up to date file?

You should update the main thread (and this thread), so people know which gamertag to download the most up to date roster.

Whoever has the most up to date roster, please PM me. Trust me, just let me do the roster for the Seminoles. It will only take me an hour max, I'll up load it, you get it back. Then you will never have to touch FSU's roster again until mid-season when it's time to re-evaluate players ratings and such.

I can edit all the equipment on every player (none of it's right), hometowns, up dated weights as recent as the teams July weigh in's last month. Also, there are RETIRED #'s of FSU greats in use that nobody is allowed to wear. I will also edit the jersey #'s of the players. Not to mention remove people from the roster who are irrelevant, and replace them with Freshman who have a future in the program. Among other details that will save you time and effort. Trust me, there are plenty of Florida State fans on here that can vouch for me.

Also, I've already discussed this with Carson. We need to put together a re-ranking system for the Freshmen in the game. And probably even the RS-Freshmen and Sophomores. EA always underrates the in-coming Freshmen classes, and then their CPU generated recruits come in ranked higher than kids who were a 5-star in real life.

I had a grading scale last year that went like this

5* - 81-84 (84 is reserved for the Top 5 players in the country)

4* - 75-80

High 3* - 70-74

Low 3* - 66-69

2* - 63-65
