Do I need an online pass to use these rosters?

I've visiting the States next week so plan on picking up NCAA 12.

Not had an NCAA game for about 5 years and got the rosters that time from this great site.
I'm not interested in playing online so I was wondering if I could buy a pre-owned PS3 version and still use these rosters?
Or do I need the online pass for any of this?

I believe you do need an online pass, but I think EA offers you a free trial of around 3-7 days (I don't remember exactly). So that would give you plenty of time to download some rosters.
