Help using rosters online

Hello folks

Once upon a time I did an update to get the names.

A buddy of mine just got online. We're pretty even but we root for different teams.

So, what we decided was no fatigue or injuries, and we'd 99 our starting roster so it comes down purely to skill

The problem is, i did the editing of his team and mine on my game. I tried saving my roster file which was the one i dloaded back in the summer, so I made the edits and saved my changes. I then tried sharing it to my locker. He then went and dloaded it from my gamertag

However, when I create a custom unranked match and invite him, it's using the same old rosters and not our own 99s

any help is appreciated
