All of this reminds me of when my family drove from North Alabama to Orlando, FL when I was a kid. My brother, sister and I asking my Dad "if we were there yet" wasn't going to get us there any faster. Especially, when he said we'll be there in 6-7 hours, then one of us asked again after 2 hours.

Oh, they've absolutely dropped the ball. If rosters are delayed due to reasons beyond anyone's control, that's perfectly fine but then our 'update' is they'll be done "soon". It's an update without giving an update.

Just say "We're X/126 teams done". Oh, but then people start speculating and thinking it'll be done in a certain amount days. Well, is that better than now when we have no idea whatsoever and we have to speculate whether or not the file is still being worked on? Couple that with every thread on the topic being locked so there can be no further updates and that's why people get impatient.
