Re: ***Xbox360 2016/2017 Rosters***

Just popping in to say I appreciate the hard work and early start you guys are getting on the rosters. I have downloaded and played a few games with my favorite team, the Tennessee Volunteers. Now, I'll provide a little bit of background first. I helped with the Call Me LSU rosters from last season (I did the C-USA and some independents) so I have some experience in creating rosters. Secondly, I have run a 24-team dynasty league for COLLEGE fantasy football for 7 years now. It helps me keep track of even "the little guys" who get overlooked by Power-5 schools.

Let me start of saying that Tennessee's roster is pretty good--correction: really good. I think you did a great job. However, there are some things missing that perhaps only a Tennessee fanboy would see. I realize I can correct these on my end if I choose to do so (as I already have) but just giving some advice--if you want to take it is up to you--on making it a bit more realistic.

(here are just some things I've seen):
1. Kahlil McKenzie #1 DT: Legs, waist, and thighs are not fat enough. You'll realize he's got the biggest thighs on planet earth. If the slider went up to 150 on thighs he would be 150. In this picture he's beside DT Owen Williams (300lbs+), DE Derek Barnett, and DT Shy Tuttle (300lbs+). His legs make theirs look like toothpicks.

2. Defensive Tackles: All 4 of the DTs are about the same. Danny O'Brien and Kendall Vickers are the spring projected starters right now. Most Vols fans will tell you that the future is McKenzie and Tuttle. However, Shy Tuttle is (I believe) the 4th best DT on the team on the rosters. Basically they should all be around 85. Shy Tuttle had a better year last year than Vickers or McKenzie as a true freshman before he got hurt. I think McKenzie will end up being the stud of the group though. If it was me I'd put (1) McKenzie 85 (2) Tuttle 85 (3) Vickers 85 (4) O'Brien 84 or something like that.

3. Joshua Dobbs: He's proven he has the ability to run over and around people. He's not a speed demon yet several times throughout the season last he completely outran the SEC defenses he was playing against (Florida for example). Numerous times Dobbs got the first down with his legs by driving through people or refusing to give up. We can't forget that unbelievable tip-toe action on the sidelines in the bowl game. Crazy athletic play.
I'd up his break tackle, agility, elusiveness, awareness, and juke move quite a bit (4-5 points each). Dobbs is a smart QB. He lacks arm talent but makes up for it with his legs.

4. WRs: Don't look at the spring depth chart. Anyone who has been listening to the reports of spring practices and off season workouts will tell you Preston Williams is the #1 WR coming into this year. He's been unstoppable on the outside. Forget Josh Malone. Josh Malone is now a JR and has yet to perform at all. Preston Williams will be your best WR although he may play the WR#2 spot in NCAA Football. Preston Williams needs to be the highest rated WR at about 85 or so.
WR1: Josh Malone (83)
WR2: Preston Williams (85)
WR3: Josh Smith (81)
WR4: Jauan Jennings (81)
WR5: Jeff George (78)

That's how I edited mine. You can do whatever you need/want to do.

5. Jalen Reeves-Maybin: He's a SR not a JR

6. KR/PR: Last year UT was the best return team in the country. CB Cam Sutton, RB Alvin Kamara, and S Evan Berry have all returned kicks for TDs. All 3 of these players need to be 99 in returning.
KR: Berry & Kamara
PR: Sutton (then Kamara)

7. Cam Sutton: He's rated decently as a CB (92 I think) but I'd say his catching abilities need a boost by a number or two. Anyways, his ball skills are ridiculously low on this roster. His ability to break tackles, elusiveness, juke moves, stiff arm, vision, all that stuff is like <30. This is UT's #1 returner and he has no ball skills in the rosters. This needs to be fixed.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! This is amazing info, and Tennessee was made a long time ago honestly lol. I heard the same about Williams. Dont know how i messed up on Jalen Reeves, and i was going back to look at the return game... THe problem is with DBs I cant have crazy elusiveness because they can easily tackle RBs in the game, when in real life good RBs have no trouble with CBs in the tackle department. Not to say they dont make the tackle, but its more likely that anyone on the field they get put on the groun because of so much open space. Im trying to find that perfect agilit/elusivness and account for return skills..

Okay so I watched the Orange and Blue Game.

Kyle Trask needs to be added to the roster.
Kylan Johnson #28 is starting LOLB.
CeCe is starting DT with Caleb and third would be Joey Ivie.

Joey needs the fourth added to his name.
Duke Dawson needs Jr added.

I will look at the rosters some more this weekend and look at the highlights from tonight's game and comment

Once the SEC is complete that is the first team im doing. We are attacking each team as a group now so we think it will go by faster that way, plus will put more that 1 pair of eyes on it. The depth chart is being added soon tho
