Pass defense strategy

I'd like to get some opinions on defensive strategy vs. Pass Happy teams.

If your team's secondary is average CBs (Upper 70's) and above average safeties (Mid 80's), Linebackers are slightly above average, and DL is actually pretty good. Would you blitz more or less?

I'm thinking blitz less with alot of safety two deep, mix man and zone. Let them have the short stuff, and hopefully the D-line puts on the pressure.

Re: Pass defense strategy

Sounds exactly like my team in the second year, I generally only blitz with zone blitzes, no way I can leave my corners on islands by themselves they will get burned everytime. If the computer comes out on 3rd and long in a 3 wide set I always come out in dime and double the wideouts and then hope their slot receiver doesnt burn me, Ive been pretty successful doing this so far atleast.
