Question Sliders for HMN vs HMN games?

I am wanting to know if most of the sliders posted here are suitable for HMN vs. HMN or online play. If not, what and how sliders should be used for this situation.

Me and my friends mainly have time for a quick match, disregarding single player vs the cpu. However, we want the realistic stats/feel for playing hmn vs hmn.

Inform me plz. Thanks!

Re: Sliders for HMN vs HMN games?

Have you just tried playing on default? The problem with most people changing sliders (which are needed) is that they are too quick to touch the human sliders. People should try to stick to changing only the CPU sliders if possible in order keep the sliders balanced for two player action.

Example: Its too easy to run so people reduce their run block ratings. You shouldn't do that. You should increase the CPU break block instead. Now you still may have to increase human pass block anyways but I would rather see the CPU sliders touched first (even if they have to be maxed out).

The sliders I use are my own and I tried not to touch the human sliders too much. They are more offensive minded but would probably work decent as two player action. They are best when the teams don't have a huge discrepancy in talent.

Re: Sliders for HMN vs HMN games?

So in theory, are the CPU sliders left untouched?

I was unsure if the CPU sliders are for either:
a) Entire team that is CPU controlled
b) Players controlled by CPU on a HMN team (ie any player you're not singly controlling at the moment)

Re: Sliders for HMN vs HMN games?

Both sets of sliders, the HUMAN team AND the CPU team, needed adjustments, some heavily.

The CPU sliders only affect the CPU controlled team.

Here's what I use for HUMAN vs HUMAN games:

OFFENSE
QB accuracy=====0
Pass blocking=====99
WR catching=====50
RB ability=======50
Run blocking=====25

DEFENSE
Awareness=====99
Knockdowns=====0
Interceptions====0
Break block=====0
Tackling=======95

SPECIAL TEAMS
All are at the default (50)

These are for All-American or lower levels (varsity, JV) and with the HFA off.
