Re: HFL League Heisman Sliders

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!! for Mark!!!

Please post some game results, season stats, whatever you like to get some feedback.

2009 - Game 2 results:

GEORGIA #1 VS. OKLAHOMA ST
37 SCORE 16
295 TOTAL 304
161 PASS 138
134 RUSH 166
2 TO 5
3 PENT 0
0 SACK 0
64 QB% 59
3.4 HB YPC 3.0
11 TOP TACK 9
3-3 FG 1-1

WOW, Oklahoma St. played me tougher than Arizona St., kept Moreno in check with no big runs, and my passing attack, they had more yards than me total. Difference in game is my pass defense is sick, 5 INT in game. For a test, I changed there playbook and offense both to Balance for Oklahoma St. pre-game, to see if they would run more and not too much QB running. There HB had 27 carries!!!!!! so will test this further. Problem is my defense is just too good. They scored all of there points in 2nd half. I only scored 2 FG in 2nd half, had 31 points at halftime.

South Carolina is next, first SEC game of the year..........

Re: HFL League Heisman Sliders

These sliders are very similar to what we are using in our online dynasty. It seems that with anything above 0 for user awareness that the cpu throws too many INTs....do you guys find this an issue in this league with the setting at 25?

2009 - Game 3 results:

SOUTH CAROLINA #12 VS. GEORGIA #1
13 SCORE 36
245 TOTAL 461
199 PASS 241
46 RUSH 220
5 TO 4
0 PENT 5
2 SACK 2
55 QB% 55
2.6 HB YPC 7.1
9 TOP TACK 8
0-0 FG 3-3

Turnover city on both teams. Moreno had a awesome day, including a 83 yard run that was spectacular!!! My defense is all over the place and makes its hard for anyone to run or pass effectively. Got Kentucky next.

Re: HFL League Heisman Sliders

Sorry, been working last few days.

Last game, ONLINE DYNASTY, Georgia at Oklahoma St., they killed me 34-17, I miss Moreno, and my bad recruiting definitely hurt me. They had a fast HB named Hunter who ran all over me, had like 180 yards and 3 tds.

Re: HFL League Heisman Sliders

jaa...you're the man!
These are great. Makes you pay attention to the running back on defense.
The only thing that messes this up, not at fault of the sliders, is the camera view. When the QB throws to the running back off-screen and you get caught out of position and it really makes it hard for your computer controlled defenders to catch the RB. Other than that, these sliders combined with patch 2 make it seem like the CPU QB is going through progressions. A little hard to sack the QB which gives him time to look.

Good job so far! I have 2 INTs of CPU in 3 games.
Realistic knockdowns. Not those GI Joe-swivel grip-behind-the-back running-in-the-opposite-direction knocksdowns.

Re: HFL League Heisman Sliders

Also...I beefed up HUM RBA to 60 and RBL to 65.
I had a terrible time running up the middle before. Seems like the defense broke off block as soon as I got near them. So this allows a few broken tackles up the middle but not too much to make unrealistic.

Every game I have been checking stats and cycling through other teams at same time.
Even though my team is Human controlled at 7 minutes it seems like I am on par with CPU teams staticstally as far as team leaders and so forth.
Realistic stats.
