Off/Def substitution slider in dynasty?

Has anyone tinkered with this to see if the CPU made more subs during the game or is it strictly for simulation?

I see them using their backup RB's on long drives so its working. I really don't pay attention to their defensive personnel so much, but my D linemen rotate quite a bit based on my sliders so I bet theirs do too.

It doesn't work I set to 100 and 0 in previous thread on sliders. It only effects simulation statistics for the season for HB1 and HB2. Any changes you see in carries are due to injuries or occassionally on long drives fatigue but overall carries per game are almost identical.

The only way to change this is to switch teams during the start of a game and perform formation substitutions for the HB position in several forms. The CPU will honor that and alternate the HB's. I find this too much work to do.

I see other teams using their backup HB on long drives. So I think it works.
