Who is still playing NCAA now that Madden is out?

I might not pick up Madden, but that's only because I love College Football as a sport way more than the NFL. Don't get me wrong, I always have a great time with Madden, but I just find myself getting into NCAA more than Madden. That, plus NHL 2k6 coming out in a few weeks, figure I might as well save my $$$.

Yeah, I did say Madden was less of an arcade football experience than NCAA. That doesn't mean NCAA is an arcade game; it means that Madden is more realistic and sophisticated.

And as for improvements, there's more than just inside gameplay and rosters. There are more pre-snap adjustments, there's the Truck Stick, which like the Vision Cone is not a gimmick, Mario running is pretty much gone for the running backs, and the superhuman leaping ability of LB's and DB's is toned down.

That's more than just a roster update, and I've been a mega 2K fan since NFL 2K1.

No, won't play madden. Boycotting it. I did try it out on a friend's xbox. Many players are overrated, the cone thing is a joke, and there is still mario running. The soundtrack is absolutely terrible...no reason they should be playing emo-pop in the Ralph, kthx. All in all an abosolutely annoying experience, any fan of football games should be severely disappointed.

I'll still be playing nfl2k5 thanks.

I much prefer NCAA to Madden at this point. I like Madden, but NCAA is holding my attention more.

I haven't played much Madden since the SUPER NES. I have much more fun with the college game.

Madden is more strategic, Madden's passing system is pretty darn cool and leaps above NCAA's (which can be frustrating with dropped balls and lack of control over ball placement), Madden's pre-snap adjustments are mind boggling, Madden's new smart-route system is a great feature (send receiver to teh first-down marker), BUT I am just having more fun with NCAA. NCAA's graphics, presentation, and controls (love the juke stick and running seems more responsive) are better and the game is just plain fun. I personally like NCAA's dynasty better as well. I guess I am in favor of the wide open offensive gameplay. Madden is more of a sim game, but it just seems stale (Madden and Michaels don't help matters). I love the in-game saves in Madden and wish NCAA had them, but I am playing NCAA more and Madden just came out three days ago (it shouldn't feel stale already). I'll still play Madden and I think teh gameplay has been improved, but NCAA will get more play time from me.
