It's almost impossible to...

stop the pass in this game, DB's swing and miss, they drop int's, then miss int's and then it's caught by the receiver, sometimes they don't even put their hands up. This game is barely playable.

It's all about sliders man, and apparently you need some new ones.

In my case, I'd actually argue that the CPU's passing isn't good enough.

For me, my defensive back play got much better when I started swatting at the passes a little earlier than I was. If you anticipate the pass to the WR a little more, you might get better coverage.
