South Carolina
QB Blake Mitchell
WR Sidney Rice
defensively, maybe LB Mike West or DT Stanley Doughty

My prediction is Buckeyes will be:

Offense
Troy Smith
Teddy Ginn Jr.
Antonio Pittman

Defense
D'Andrea
Kerr

Arizona State will be interesting...

-One will be a QB. Keller and Carpenter both started this year and did well. Keller got hurt and missed the rest of the season, and Carpenter came in and led the nation in passing efficency. Obviously one of these two will be one, but who? It is also possible that both may be...That would really suck, but it is definately possible...

-TE Zach Miller was one of the impact players last year. However, due to injury he had a subpar year as compared to his freshman campaign. So it depends if they will keep him or not based simply on the idea that he already was one.

-Kicker Jesse Ainsworth is also a possible canidate. The senior has great leg and is one of the better kickers in the nation.

-On defense the only real player I could see if Northwestern transfer Loren Howard. He was All Big 10 before his injury and transfer. He will definately anchor the defensive line.

My Guess:
Keller
Carpenter
Howard

#9 TCU Horned Frogs

1. QB Jeff Ballard
-Only started the last 9 games of the season. Came in for the injured starter, Gunn.
-Completed 60% of his passes for 1,801 yards and 13 TD's. Also ran for 314 yards and another 8 touchdowns - 21 TD's in 9 games.

2. HB Robert Merrill
-Split time with HB's Lonta Hobbs and Aaron Brown, but still notched 911 yards and 10 TD's. 4.9 ypc. Very fast and a powerful runner.

3. DE Tommy Blake
-57 tackles, 13.5 TFL, and 7 sacks. Only a sophomore. He will probably be grossly underrated because of his youth, but he is an athletic freak, huge and scary fast, absolutely a terror.

(And this is assuming WR Cory Rogers is going pro. Hopefully he doesn't, in which case he would probably bump Merrill, but he probably will.)

I'm sorry...I couldn't say that with a straight face.

I agree with Dagger. It will be KI at RB, DI at DB, and I'd still say Courtney Taylor...even though he was hampered with an injury all of last year..he's one of the best in the SEC and the nation at WR. He'll be the third.

Arkansas State
WR - Levi Dejohnette
MLB - Josh Williams (pending his acceptance back onto the team)
SS - Tyrell Johnson

This season was SR RB Antonio Warren, Soph FS Khayyam Burns & SS Tyrell Johnson. Johnson definitely deserved the honors as did Warren, but I imagine burns will be toned down if Williams returns from to the team (booted last season for "conduct detrimental to the team). Reports say that he's busting his butt to get back on the team and apparently is swoll-up.
