I swear, if the first thing to happen around the NCAA release is someone climing to have it before they do, the next is endless questions about ratings. People in that thread over there ask him to prove he has it by asking for player ratings?

Besides, how would they know until release date if he was wrong? If I got the game early I would not respond to any requests (more like demands over there) but instead post screens and answer questions (as long as they're not "Does Duke have their new incoming freshman strong safety? He's a 2**, he's our best ever!")

A few people already have the game. If you look on the xbox live stats people have played online.

That being said who really cares. It could be EA people testing it out. Its not like 12 days is going to kill me.

I'm sure some people will get the game early. It happens every year. I have a friend that works at Best Buy and they usually get their games in a few days early. Halo 2 is a game that comes to mind. Best Buy had it three days before the scheduled launch date.

The fact is that with popular games a lot of stores will get them before the release date. The release date is set in order to make sure that all these stores have the game by a certain date.

You can try to get a store to sell it to you but the odds that will happen are very slim. It will only happen if you get an employee that doesn't know what they are doing. I have never even bothered trying.
