Re: freshmen recruit ratings disparity

If that was true, then they would still have the higher rating as sophs but they dont

Are you sure you're looking at RBs in RB Depth Chart, WRs in the WR DC? Players will show different ratings for different positions. My 82 WR is a 99 KR and PR. My quality TE also shows up, albeit lower rated, as a FB. My big WRs with good blocking skills sometimes have higher overall ratings as TE.

Thats the only thing I can think of that resembles what you are seeing.

yes i'm sure i'm in the rb depth chart. One of my 2 frosh backs is a 99 returner. I've been playing this game long enough to know the difference for that but tis not the fact in question.

Re: freshmen recruit ratings disparity

This thread is really old, but I'd like an update if anyone has one. I never thought of this until I read this thread. I then checked my team and saw that I was playing a 74 rated freshman OLB over an 80 rated OLB because the 74 freshman showed up as an 81 in my depth chart. This is the 6th season I've played so I wonder how many times I've played inferior players because of this bug.

Here's my main question. Does this bug definitely only affect freshmen and is definitely cleared up when the players become sophomores?

If so, I'll just delve my freshmen when setting my depth charts and not worry about anyone else. If this bug can hit all classes instead of only freshman, then it'll take even longer than the excruciatingly long time it already takes to set my depth chart.
