Making it a ten point scale

Now, we have bugs... several of them, several bad ones. There's the roster issue, which has been discussed at length. The slider issue, which is the big one too me. There's a few game play faults, such as the underneath passing, and pass rush (which seems to me was originally overblown, but it still IS an issue), there's defensive play in general, CPU passing, CPU not running, and on and on and on...

But the gameplay itself, imho, is outstanding. The feel of the game, the pace of the game, it just plays so well. Movement, tackling, it's by far the best I think I've ever seen. And that counts for a lot.

We're getting the fix for the rosters soon, I'm hoping the sliders follow soon after. Fix those two things, I can't really find a flaw worth mentioning.

So, my grade: 8/10, with the potential for a 9 if the sliders get fixed and they can be used to correct existing gameplay issues.

It's all about the slider issue for me. If it's not patched, this is a 60 dollar purchase to watch CPU/CPU games. If they fix the issue, the rating will go up, of course.. I won't know how high, until I actually play it after the so called patches. I just don't find it fun to win every game, and score at will.

I gave it an 8. It has its issues which will most likely be patched but it's just a fun game. I mean, the more I think about it the more I really start to say to myself, "what game throughout your gaming career hasn't had issues?"

Great job EA...primarily because of Adam and Ian and others being around and we know that finally, our concerns are going to the source and not getting lost in cyberspace.

Average, im still wondering why they added more players on the bench and removed the coach...this is NEXT GEN people, not some NES type ish.

Right now... about a 7.0

After roster patch... about 7.5

If the 2nd patch fixes ALL sliders, which IMO should alleviate the DL pass rush issue, Robo QB issue, CPU ineffective run game, Subs, and Penalties, and fix the kickoff/punt issues... about 8.5

If the 2nd patch also addresses the lack of deep ball by CPU... 9.0

7. Added some nice things and it has better control, but aside from a few fixed gameplay problems...it's the same game as last year with alot of the same problems.
