I believe EA was only approved for one free patch with NCAA but they got two free patches with Madden. Unless Adam corrects this, EA had to pay a fee to have a 2nd patch but that depends on negotiation between the higher-ups. Both Sony and MS are different with regards to patches and MS restricts the size of the patches more than Sony which is why they won't be patching accelerated clock (even though its possible for Madden).
Damn MS and the 360's are screwing us again!

don't think there's an issue with pass rush really.. it's just that as soon as you get even the slightest bit of pressure on the QB, he turns into Robo QB and makes quick, accurate reads every single time

AA and Bill would beg to differ

By in large the patch sounds pretty good, but as someone mentioned earlier....what about the body edit sliders for players. They're still screwed up too

After the MLB 2K8 fiasco, I'll believe there is a patch available when I see it with my own eyes and won't expect it any sooner regardless of what anyone says. There doesn't seem to be a lot of urgency with the certification process at MS and Sony, so it will get here when it gets here.

Re: Patch 1 and 2 Info

Thanks a ton for the info! I think with working sliders people should be able to get the game close enough to their expectations to at least enjoy it. I am already having a blast, but I am really looking forward to beefing the computer running ability and diminishing their passing accuracy without impacting the user settings.

Re: Patch 1 and 2 Info

I have a 360. Does anyone know if these patches will be available on the silver account which is free?

I could understand the roster patch being on the gold account but if someone isn't interested in rosters it doesn't seem fair they would have to pay for a gold account to get a patch to fix a defective game.

Re: Patch 1 and 2 Info

OMT,

Is there any word about patches (now or future) that address the following:

1)The speed differential between players (see here and here for a discussion).

2) Terrible pursuit angles by the CPU (for an extreme example, see the oft-posted West Virginia vs Georgia video), which may be related to point #1.
