glitch in recruiting

Ciao a tutti--

I'm starting year 2013 and when I got to the preseason recruiting I see that none of the recruits have player portraits.

Has anyone else seen this?
Will they be bugged because of this?
I always save a new file after every year. Would I be better off going to the end of 2012 and starting again?

I went ahead and simmed forward a season. When I got the portraitless recruits on my team, they had player models where I could edit their names, jersey #s, uniform accessories, etc. Also, the recruits for this new year didn't have portraits either. I'll go back to the end of 2012 and try again to see if I can get portraits.

That's weird. What is there instead?

There was nothing at all. It just showed the background that was behind them. I simmed forward a couple of seasons and every year afterwards there were no portraits.

Luckily, I had a save from the end of the previous season so I started over and this time they had the portraits. All I had to redo was my offseason recruiting and position changes, etc. This would really suck though, for people that only use 1 save.
