Team Builder Idea.

This idea just popped into my head about 2 seconds ago. So, i will be thinking an typing, so excuse the errors please.

Okay. I was thinking that since Team Builder will let us use logos from current D-1 schools and it will also allow us to use uploaded logos, I could now customize the Miami Hurricanes to my liking.

I could use their normal primary logo, and then upload my avatar as the alternate. I could then recreate their uniforms or make them look the way I like.

Say I like the current home uniforms, but hate the away. I could go in and recreate the home uni's and then I could make the away uni's look more my style. And then I could make my home and away alt's too.

Then I could go in an pick their current stadium and just recreate everything and use their roster.

I would still be using the Hurricanes, but they would now be my style.

This could help shut up those people who complain their team doesn't have Uniform A or Uniform B. So if Wazzou doesn't have the all white uniform(do they?) in the game, but they wore them twice last year and you like it.

Just go in to team builder and recreate them, but make the Alt. that uniform. Problem solved.

The problems I see with this though, is the commentators will say " The Home Team " instead of " The Hurricanes ".

Yeah, this was discussed somewhere else. Its pretty sweet, I can't wait to use it for teams that didn't get their uni's in. Hopefully someone will just remake them with the right uni's and I can replace them in my dynasty.

Adam stated as long as you name them Miami Hurricanes(I believe he even tested it with Miami Hurricanes too), it will say their name.

you can create nfl teams and the announcers would say the miami dolphins for example if i was reading the devs post right.

Yeah, I can't wait to do this if I want to do a dynasty with a team and I do not like their jerseys, I can just change the jerseys without changing the stadium or roster.

You probably could do things like change the conference logo on the field if you wanted to move teams around.

Never thought about that.... Teambuilder is gonna be sweet...


The only thing is... Is how close will Teambuilder allow us to get the created uniform stripes to the teams original stripes. Take Miami for example... They have a pretty unique stripe pattern on their unis... Will Teambuilder have this patter as well? Truely not that big of a deal. But if you are trying to make the team as close as possible it will be hard if Teambuilder doesnt have Miami's stripe pattern....

This was/is my question.

I'm hoping we can choose templates for pre-existing teams already in the game when creating our uniforms.
