To actually answer the real question, yes the CPU does Muff punts and you will too if you 1) Move the player before he catches the ball and/or 2) you have a guy who has very eweak hands.

The muff that frustrates me is when you move your punt returner out of the way to let the ball hit inside the 10 yard line and the rest of your players go diving.

What can you do to stop all those players from diving, muffing, and turning over the rock?
