Does anyone here run the Mississippi State Playbook

If so how. Do you use wild cat a lot. How does it work for you. Basically I guess is how do you use this playbook because it is cool and I wanna start using it but I'm just wondering how someone who has possibly used it before uses it.

I use it and love it. I use all the formations but my favorites are the spread wild dog, split offset shotgun, all the slot T or whatever they are where the TE is lined up in the backfield usually right behind the Tackle and Guard

I do...especially when all I have is a QB. Miss St's and Ga tech's are my fave new playbooks. MSU's is very QB-centric and only gets better with good personnel. the main thing is have a running QB and adjust to what you have around the QB. As long as you have the mobile QB, you can make a WR, HB or TE the other focal point of the offense.

miss st may have the best playbook in the game, I usually use the ''wilddawg'' a few plays a game but there are 2 or 3 other formations that you can sub a wr/rb in at qb also (including the dawgheavy msu's version of gator heavy)

I play as Mississippi State in my offline dynasty. Halfway through my first season I started using the option run playbook and was able to upset Georgia (#7 at the time) and Alabama (#2 at the time) because they just couldn't stop the run.

Ive used it before, i prefer Auburns over MSUs. I run Auburns playbook with Iowa. I use the Wild formation for clock management.

Re: Does anyone here run the Mississippi State Playbook

I use MSU's playbook in both of my Michigan dynasties (1 online/1 offline) and I absolutely love it! It's an awesome option pb. It has very nice power running (much better SG power running than I've seen in any other pb) and decent passing as well.

I only use the wilddog spread a 2-3 times per game. I will also use the wildcat formation in bulldog heavy and empty TE slot wing (?) 1 or 2 times per game as well. I love to use the 3 different wing formations for my power running. The slot F wing is the best as it has both a TE and a FB in there as well as a QB choice and 2 dedicated HB running plays. All 3 of the wing formations have at least 1 power running play, a QB choice, a WR motion option, a speed option, and a HB toss for lots of running options. The ACE formation (2 TEs) is another great power running formation as is bulldog heavy (I usually go with the QB in there to have a passing threat). This pb also has at least 4* 4 WR sets and 4* empty backfield sets as well.

I'm a run first kinda guy so I will run from the power formations and I'll also spread the D out with 4 WRs and either run from that if it's open, or audible ot a pass if not. I love how in any given formation you can run either HB runs or QB runs or options up the gut, to the left or the right.

I usually only use the Wild Dog to run out the clock or kill time. Maybe 2 or 3 other times a game.
