More mini-games that build skills

I already mentioned this in my blog, but I decided to repeat myself here. Blocked punts, kicks and FGs are so rare. Why not add a special teams mini-game to help you practice. You could include punt returns and kick returns as well. There is already an option mini-game in NCAA 10. Anyone agree?

Didn't Cody for Alabama block two FGs in one game? I agree that blocked kicks are rare, but shouldn't be impossible. In one of the original Xbox versions, 07, I think, it was a kick-blocking-fest. I don't want to go to that extreme. The last two years on next gen, the blocked kicks are almost non-existent.

It is a good idea, but seems like a tough task for the development team. How do you create a game where you can block kicks (based upon user skill) a realistic amount. Seems like once someone figures it out, then they are going to be able to do it all the time.

IMO blocked kicks were too easy last year. Put a fast guy (97+ Speed, Demps or Rainey for Florida) on the edge, and just run at full speed until you block the kick. I probably blocked 1/2 I went for.

Re: More mini-games that build skills

I think blocked kicks are pretty rare IRL, but there needs to be more mishandled snaps/low kicks.
