There are lots of great ones out there but to me, Michigan's and USC's sound the most like "fight songs." They sound like something a military band would play, not full of pomp. I love Michigan, so I put them #1, USC #2.

Notre Dame's is iconic and very memorable. Rocky Top doesn't do much for me. The lyrics to Wramblin' Wreck From Georgia Tech are just hysterical.

I'll go a little different direction here and talk about some underrated fight songs.

I realize my bias is at a ridiculous level on this one, but I really think Oklahoma State's has a unique sound to it.

BTW, I agree with Quint75. Georgia Tech's tune is really good, but the lyrics are even better. Definitely one of my favorites.

I don't know if War Chant counts, but Tiger Rag shouldn't. It's a real "catalog" song played by Big Bands back in the day. I know many Clemson fans disagree, but a fight song should be an original song from and by the school.
