Commercial Breaks

The Show has this sweet fade-to-black effect at the end of cutscenes/replays between each half-inning that gives you that "commercial break" feel. And then a second later if fades back in from black showing the next batter coming up.

It's subtle, but this is exactly the type of stuff that immerses you into the game! I love it!

Yeah, I'm really hoping for Top 25 overlays during the game, showing each team's upcoming schedule, maybe a ticker along the bottom showing scores from other games in your dynasty... man, I hope they nail it!

This sounds like a solid idea. So long as they was to implant it the right way in the game. If it ain't done right. Then what is the use of it been in. But a good idea anyway.

2k10 had the fade in/fade out deal too I believe. It would be pretty cool.

Ya this was awesome in NCAA Basketball.

I wonder if we will ever actually see commercials in games though. I think EA could make some nice cash for it, and be able to update with dynamic adds online like other games.

I would allow commercials in the game if we got it for $40. Offer a second version for $60 too that lets you have the option to turn commercials off.

But the MLB 2k series has a fade like that and it adds to the immersion.
