Quarter Length

What is a good quarter length to get somewhat accurate stats?

Re: Quarter Length

Last year I went with 7, but with the addition of the "accelerated clock" this year I may shoot for 10.

Re: Quarter Length

Now that they have teh Acc clock from Madden in teh game, I will probably roll with 9 or 10 minute qtrs.

Its not like Madden's.

In Madden the clock ran down after you selected a play. In NCAA it runs down as soon as you enter the play call screen.

In Madden you can turn it off and select how much it runs down. In NCAA its always on even under 2 minutes in a half unlike Madden. And it always runs down 8-10 seconds. To make it run down more, you must set your Offensive tempo to conservative and that will add a Chew Clock rundown to it.

Re: Quarter Length

It is an interesting feature, one I am very much looking forward to seeing how it changes things.

In Madden last year I had the accel clock run down to 12 seconds, and that way I could play with 15 min qtrs. Not sure if I will still be able to do that, but 15 min qtrs is what I will start with, and if it seems like too many plays are being run still, I will change things up.
