miami in the big east

if i were to move miami back to the big east will they get credit for the championships they won or will they start fresh? same thing for schools like virginia tech, marshall in the mac etc...

Speaking strictly from my 20+ years of experience with EA games, I'd say they're going to start fresh and not get credit for the past conference titles.

Seems like he is implying conference titles. I would hope shifting a team doesn't erase their history. It doesn't for teambuilder; the team takes on the rival and records of that team.

yeah i meant conference titles. i know marshall won the mac five times and i was wondering if that would show up in the team info page after i move them back? i doubt it, just wondering what you guys thought.

Unfortunately I don't think that the game would recognize that.

It would be cool though if you could move a team into its old conference and the game would recognize it and say 'hey, you were in conference 'a' before' and then they would replace the stats with the current conference with those from the conference you were moving into to.

I thought if you moved a team it kept all the conference championships? Because when you look at a teams history it shows the total championships won in their history, not just the current conference championships, right? Their total shouldn't go down to zero

It shows Conference Championships and National Championships. For example, Miami's card is something like this...

All-time record: 568–320–19 (.637)
Bowl Record: 18–16
Conference Championships: 0
National Championships: 5(2001)
