If anyone knows of any "early release-friendly" stores in the Pensacola, FL area, please PM me.

So if you guys could get the game early you wouldn't, because you have patience? Good for you I guess. I don't get the people that always want to question people who try and get the game early.

I will try again this year, like always, but if I don't have a chance to get it by the Wednesday or Thursday before release, I doubt I try this year. We are going out of town on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th, anniversary is Monday the 11th, so release day it might be for me.

I dont really question people. If there was a place nearby who did that, I would definitely do it. I just like the wait.

If my internet was good enough for me to play on xbox live, I'd be perfectly fine, but unfortunately, it isn't . I can do about everything but play.

I've bought the game every year since it was Bill Walsh Football, and in all that time I've only managed to get it early twice (NCAA 07 & 09). We have a couple of Houston area OSer's who seem to find it early every year, but damned if I know how.

Re: Early release strategy July 2011

I've never gotten it early, mainly due to the fact that there were no mom n pops type stores in my area.

I moved to Los Angeles this year for work and have some hope in getting it early. Already have one place I'm going to try, but would love more feedback from anybody in Southern California that has had luck in the past.

People love this game and enjoy trying to find it early. This thread documents their trials & tribulations. Even the EA folk love reading this thread.
