I would say Vanderbilt.
You're in the toughest conference in america with A LOT of national powers with a lot of history and prestige.
Your home state is Tennessee, which isnt exactly talent rich compared to Florida or Texas, and you figure most of the prospects are going to Tennessee or Bama.

I think i am going to go with Montana. Seems like they won't be easy, and i feel like more of a boss when i have Joe Montanas' son as my QB.

a thing to keep in mind when you consider EMU is that while not in a big three state Mich has decent recruiting and ohio has good recruiting so there is a bit of a base to draw from as all but three teams in conference are in those states.

New Mexico St. they have not had a winning season since i guess the 60's. To me you shouldnt be able to turn them around in the current conference. I would guess you would have to change them into a different conference to get them to move up. If you look back they have not beat Boise St or Hawaii in several years so in my mind you shouldnt beat them this year either. Not much returning from a team that wasnt that good. So i would say if you turn them into a 6 star team in 5 to 10 years wouldnt be that real but maybe in 20 year dynasty that might be about right. Depends on how real you really want this game to be. if you play as New Mexico st and win more than 4 games this year you need to change the sliders they were way to easy! But for me it would be New Mexico st. No chance of every making it to 6 stars!

Both Hawaii and Nevada can pull good recruits because of the school lifestyle. That's usually why they almost have an under .500 season

id think a school without a good recruitin base, as once you start to climb the ladder, you'll still have to recruit players that could be better, and probably do more out of state recruiting...so my top 3 would include UNLV, UNM, and New Mexico State or something of the sort
