effect of minutes played

just wondering if minutes per quarter has any effect on the cpu play calls. as in 8 minute quarters will the cpu adjust the playcalling in the belief of quarter being almost over instead of just beginning.

From what I have seen, yes the CPU calls a better game the longer the quarters are. With longer quarters 8+ I see the CPU likes to run a lot more and doesn't play aggressive every play by passing it deep all of the time.

i really believe the shorter quarters totally affects the cpu game logic which in turn affects the cpu gameplan.

I believe so. I said the same thing about madden last year (or was it 2 years ago?). I feel that the CPU plays a lot more aggressive in lower minutes per quarter. I feel with longer minutes the CPU plays a more well rounded game but is a tad easier do to aggressiveness being toned down. Thus the need for sliders to achieve not only solid stats (big plays still happen a lot) but to also make the game harder.
