The title "NCAA 12 Menu (wtf)", phrases such as "what were the designers taking?" and "instead of the annoying and startling ESPN cut-ins and repetitive band songs" all imply you don't like it.

I loved when they showed your saved highlights on the menu screen! I have a 4gb now. For those with the bigger hard drive. Do they still run your saved vids at the menu screen?

Considering every gameplay complaint/bug/glitch/problem/proposed solution has been beaten to death on this board, a discussion like this isn't the worst thing thing that can happen.

And to think it isn't a legitimate concern is naive. The menu's are so brutally slow and the presentation is boring, it is a game wide issue, not just the menus, but in game and in feature. When presentation is featured by EA, you'd think it would actually be someone decent.

Want an example of brutally slow menus, go to formation subs in an online dynasty for a custom playbook. It literally takes 5+ seconds to go between formations and players. That is hilarious to me because that menu doesn't get more basic. No animation, there isn't a wild amount of data, it is just slow to the point where I don't want to finish doing formation subs for a 27 formation playbook (plus defense).

It's a valid concern, to get mad at the guy is ridiculous. I'd rather have productive conversations about this than a 50 page conversation about L2/LT or going over the roster glitch for the 20th time.

I actually haven't experienced the slowness at the level that a lot of you are bringing up. The only time the menu slows up for me is in the coach info screen, scrolling through can be a bit frustrating. While I still think my original idea would be a pretty cool addition, I wouldn't be disappointed by a much more basic, and better functioning menu either.

i remember on the old gen, there was archived video clips of highlights and it was good music. Now its 2011 and the programmers cant put a chain gang in.

Yep, I could go either way. I'd love some team specific stuff, but inevitably some teams will be missing things like that and we'll have North Texas or New Mexico State fans on here complaining that their team wasn't represented enough.

I liked the idea (and previously used feature) where in-game highlights for your team play on a video screen in the menu. That would give you team specific stuff and it would be an engaging feature.

I just like the idea of something eye grabbing and interesting. But on the list of things that need fixing, this is still very, very, very far down the list.

I loved that too, when they actually had a trophy room. I wish they would bring that back, it doesn't have to be the opening menu but the old trophy room would be nice. To answer your question, that's a big no.
