I promised that I wouldn't buy this year's version after the disaster that was ncaa 12. I have to stick to that promise. I have to resist, no matter how good the game sounds this time around. Hopefully some of you guys who were disappointed last year can resist the hype this year. We KNOW it isn't going to live up to the hype, and it will have a ton of issues. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 5 times... god damnit EA

For me, the passing system is whats going to be the factor in wether i buy or not this year. If they add right stick controls or something along those lines for the passing, then its a definite buy. People think they're overrated, but I'm all for right stick controls.

I agree that gameplay needs to be addressed, that message is loud and clear. You can't browse a thread on this site without someone mentioning the issues plaguing gameplay. But if EA isn't complying it's not because the focus is on upgrading Teambuilder, which really hasn't been touched in years.

More wording straight from a press release, as happens every year. None of this - ZILCH, ZERO, NADA - means a thing to me until this game gets in the hands of real gamers.

As always, I wait and see. I'm not cautiously optimistic ... I'm just cautious. This will be my 10th version of NCAA Football. I always get it because I only play sports games (and almost all football), but I always see the actual game falling short of the pre-release hype.

From the looks of this EA spent most of their time on presentation and RTG (heisman challenge too), with minor gameplay & dynasty tweaks. I hope this isn't the case.. I was really hoping I could have more control over my school in dynasty: upgrade facilities, stadium expansion, option of updating uniforms (through team builder) each offseason, etc. Guess we just get to scout recruits instead...
