I just hope the menus aren't slow as molasses anymore. Nothing more frustrating than slow menus to navigate through.

Don't hold your breath. The old menus were brutally slow and laggy, not just switching feature to feature but going in and out of depth chart and formation subs. Just loading the main menu when booting up the game took half a decade.

I can just imagine how insanely slow animated menus are.

This is just EA's way of making a game. They think that we want cheerleaders, a puppy, and ESPN-inspired menus.
Like many have said.. They don't need put in an effort when they know that people will buy it no matter what.
