QB rushing yards

Why does NCAA insist on counting sacks as negative rushing yards for a QB? Madden doesn't, why should NCAA?
It makes scrambling QBs less fun.

Because that is how it is in the real NCAA. In the NFL, sacks count against passing yards if it is clear the play was a designed pass. In college, any offensive play in which a pass or kick is not actually attempted is considered a rush.

What? Since when do sacks count against pass yards in the NFL? Not true.

They indeed are. They aren't counted for individual passing yards but are counted against team passing yards.

As was stated, both video games count sacks the same way as their real life sports.

Oh, team passing yards? Who cares, nobody looks at that anyway.

I stand corrected, I guess.

If you were a good scrambling QB, you wouldn't get sacked.
