They cover too much ground due to lack of momentum and reaction time, but the models themselves I believe are correctly sized.

I think the problem is, there's no room to operate. The field is too small. I continue to see DE get into the passing lanes and knock down passes intended for a WR on the wide side of the field doing a out route.

Also, safeties can cover three WR on a giving play. The field and player model size should be exactly like FIFA Soccer.

It's kinda like pick poison kinds because if we did go back to wide open style it makes offense pretty easy because you have a birds eye view un like real life.

They need to find a good balance

I think the picture speaks for itself that the field is sized correctly for the player models. The reason why those things happen is because of flight time on passes, unrealistic reaction time by defenders, and unrealistic player movement not because the field itself is too small.

IMO, the solution needs to lie in addressing those issues, not shrinking the player models.

Had I not read your OP I would've assumed that you were joking about the older models looking better.

Those 2k models are absolutely horrendous looking.

The 2k player models defiantly look more like a football player. Obviously new player models will have more polygons. And look smoother. But as far as getting the proportions right and the model actually looking like a human being wearing football pads 2k and nfl fever did it better.

Ncaa players look to lanky and the players aren't wide enough,

We'll definitely have to agree to disagree here as I disagree with pretty much everything I just quoted.
