You don't check it for every wideout on every play, it's just a quick look in for your #1 read.

If I look at the match up when I'm on defense are the numbers still the WR vs the DB or are they flipped?

For example if the WR speed is 90 and DB speed is 80 on offense I'd see +10. If I were on defense would I see +10 or -10?

Now that teambuilder 14 is up, this would be really easy to check on the demo.

I have not seen this on the demo, is it a setting I may have turned off or is it only in the release game?

You hold down RT/R2 and a screen will pop up telling you to select a receiver. It doesn't pop up in 2 player games though.
