No the problem is still there if you play on anything other than normal game speed.

Re: The Official NCAA 14 Flexbone Offense Thread

I never had success with the trap even trying the opposite run method.

From the flex I run the trips sets with some success since it often takes a defender out of the equation. If you get a 4-2 front with a D player on the slot receiver you can easily run triple option out of trips since the OLB gets picked up easily by the tackle the pitch read is the safety that is way to far away to make a play. If they play an even front or have another backer/safety outside to where you want to run it you should be albe to run 4 vert or some type of flood concept to the trip side since you have the numbers. With audibles you can run no huddle pretty easily just setting up to attempt to run the option to the wide side.

Other 'free plays' are out of tackle over. Just start with midline or triple set to run to the wide side and if the Defense is in man just run the option but if in zone (A CB on the side away from the 2 WRs) you can audible to the Flood (a default quick audible) and the out route is about automatic unless the CB runs a cover 2 drop which in that case the streak from the outside receiver will be there. If you miss both the back in the flat is a quick drop off for some yards.

I'm looking to start a new Dynasty with this playbook but i don't want to use the teams that already use this playbook (Army,Navy,Air Force,GT) any suggestions on other teams you could use with this playbook?

You can run this offense with any team in the game. To have success you simply need to take the piece you already have on your roster, and put them into the correct spaces for you to succeed. If you go back to the first page of this thread someone wrote up a nice position by position guideline of what kind of athlete you want in each position. Find the guys that fit that description the best already on your roster, and then you can recruit for year 2

One I've been kind of toying around with on the side is Texas A&M (maybe I'm biased).

You may get too giddy to let Johnny run like crazy, but there's a lot of upside there. Trey Williams and Brandon Williams/Ben Malena at A-Backs, with Tra Carson/Ben Malena lined up at the B. On the outside, use Mike Evans and RSJ at WR, and throw deep if need be. If I ever pick this up and get really going with it, I think some people would be in trouble online. haha.

Re: The Official NCAA 14 Flexbone Offense Thread

I've seen people ask about the FB Sting, and maybe I'm just missing it — If so, I apologize. BUT, the question I have is:

Which technique do I run towards, and which am I trying to get away from?

I've had a mixed bag with both, and when it seems to work one way or another, it starts to fail me. So, which way should I PRIMARILY be looking?

Thanks for the awesome thread, by the way. I've had this account for a while, and just stalked instead of finally registering, but this motivated me to get it all done. Used to be an Air Raid guy, but I love the option-style offense and now almost exclusively go out of Flex.
